One memory for every Claude Code session on your team.

Claude Code remembers what you taught it, on your machine. KoalaFix gives everyone’s Claude Code the same team memory: the latest decisions, the facts your team relies on, and what each person’s agents are working on right now.

One decision, two different answers.

On Monday, Harry tells Claude Code the team deploys on Fridays now. On Tuesday, Oliver’s Claude Code still says Thursdays, because the note never left Harry’s machine. With KoalaFix, both read one memory, so both say Fridays.

CLAUDE.md vs auto memory vs KoalaFix.

Claude Code carries knowledge between sessions in two ways. Both are useful, and neither keeps a team in step.

How CLAUDE.md and auto memory work is from Anthropic’s Claude Code documentation.

What changes in a Claude Code session.

With the KoalaFix plugin installed, this happens every session, without anyone asking for it.

  1. It starts with the team’s brief

When a session opens, Claude gets a short brief: team news and what teammates’ agents are working on. As you prompt, it searches team memory and brings in what matches.

  2. It checks in before it starts

Claude tells KoalaFix what it’s about to work on. If a teammate’s agent already has that work, in Claude Code or any other tool, Claude hears about it before anyone duplicates it.

  3. It saves what the team decided

At set points, Claude saves the decisions made so far, in its own words, without your prompts or transcript. The newest decision replaces the old one, so tomorrow everyone’s agent starts from it.

Set it up in a minute.

Each person connects their own Claude Code, and there’s nothing to host.

1 · Connect

Add the KoalaFix server, then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick koalafix and sign in in your browser.

claude mcp add --transport http koalafix https://mcp.koalafix.com/mcp
2 · Make it automatic

Install the koalafix-auto plugin from inside Claude Code. It adds the session hooks that bring in the brief, search memory as you prompt and show what’s open when you finish. It needs Node.js 22 or later.

/plugin marketplace add KoalaFix/koalafix-connect
/plugin install koalafix-auto@koalafix-connect
3 · Bring your team

An admin makes invite links on the dashboard’s Members page. Teammates connect their own tools the same way, and everyone shares one memory. Every client’s setup, including Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot, is in Help.

Questions Claude Code users ask.

Do I still need CLAUDE.md?

Yes. Keep build commands, coding standards and rules for Claude in CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md, where they’re reviewed like code. Use KoalaFix for what changes from week to week: decisions, who’s working on what, and the facts your team checks. You can also export team memory as an AGENTS.md block.

My teammates use Cursor or Codex. Does that matter?

No. Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Claude and ChatGPT all connect to the same memory, so a decision saved in Claude Code reaches a teammate’s Cursor, and their check-ins reach you.

What does the plugin send to KoalaFix?

A request for the session brief, the text of each prompt as a search question (up to 2,000 characters, with secrets stripped), check-ins, and the decisions Claude chooses to save. KoalaFix never reads your code or your repository. Security has the full detail.

What happens if KoalaFix is unavailable?

Claude Code keeps working. The hooks get out of the way, and memory catches up when KoalaFix is back.

Is our memory used to train AI models?

No. We don’t train AI models on your team’s memory, we don’t let our AI providers train on it, and we never sell it.

What does it cost?

Basic is free for up to 4 people. Premium is US$15 a seat a month after a 30-day free trial, with every person’s agents included. See pricing.

Decide once. Every agent remembers.

Every agent checks in before its first edit and works from one memory that keeps itself up to date, in every tool your team uses.
